In 2019, I suffered 17 strokes resulting in an acquired brain injury. I was at first, overwhelmed with my plan and was often told decisions rather than guided to make choices from my previous Support Coordinator. After 3 years, I was introduced to Kasia from Evolved Ways. Kasia has been wonderful to me and truly a Godsend in supporting me to achieve my goals. She has been crucial in regards to my SDA application, supporting me timelessly in completing forms and never once treated me as though I am someone with a disability. I am truly grateful to be engaged with such a hands-on, compassionate and committed service and can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.

After my son suffered a catastrophic brain injury, we entered the NDIS world to aid his recovery. Unsure of the process, scheme, or what support was even available, we fumbled our way through the first two years of his plan being confused, frustrated and completely lost and, for the most part, unable to reach our Support Coordinator for guidance or the promised support that was ensured when we engaged services. My son’s recovery was being affected by this unsuitable support coordination, and his ability to achieve goals was limited. We engaged Evolved Ways at the three-year mark post injury and cannot be more grateful for the compassionate, effective, and tireless support Kasia has shown our family. Due to Kasia’s efforts and commitment, my son is now achieving goals. Our family is able to breath and feel as though there is hope for his future.
